You can pretty much tune any bow to get muzzy's montecs and jsut about any other broadhead shooting fine. I can't agree with someone who tells people to steer clear of one of the best broadheads ever made.
Could you have hit a limb, your string hit your coat, etc?

First year shooting the Montecs for me. During practice they shoot as well as my field points. I was amazed how well they flew. I bought the flat stone sharpener and touch them up out of the packageto get them razor sharp. I've shot at 2 deer with them (both does). Two for two with perfect double lung and heart passthroughs. Bloodtrails a blind man could follow. No complaints here.
