Default HELP settle a bet......

I know you guys are getting sick of the "What do you think this buck scores" posts, but a buddy and I have a bet going on this buck. I think this is a 130" and my buddy says he is at least a 140". What do you think. This is the biggest buck we have ever had on our property and we are both hunting our a$$es off to try to get him. Hopefully I'll be able to post some harvest pics soon...... Thanks in advance for the help.

I think he would be hard pressed to make mid 130's.

We could guess all day but unless one of you puts him on the ground and puts a tape on him to find out for sure doesn`t really matter does it? By the way i`m thinking 125-130Go get him! and good luck!

Estimating the lengths of the tines etc with my calculator here I come up with 130" . Here's how, again an estimate.

4" brows (not both)
9" G2's (again, not both)
9" G3's (again, not both)
1" G4 3" G4
17" spread
17" main beams (prolly not)(can only count 17" per spread)
4" H1's
4" H2's
4" H3's
3" H2's

With that, he's not equal on both sides, he's missing a G4 on the left, His G2 and 3's are not equal both sides, he'll loose a little there
The mass I gave him is close but not 100%

All in all he's a 130" animal but will net much less. IMO

I'll have to agree with Rob. Maybe give you 5" more total. I do think he's got enough to make P & Y.

He will make the book. But only if you shoot him first.

Good luck and let us know.

He would score, two back strap, two tender loin, possible two shoulder loin, two shoulder roast, two rump roast, a few round steaks, and a bunch of burger.

What did I win?
