RE: Pic of my 10 pointer
Rob, I was in a hurry to get him cleaned out when I found him because the temps were starting to climb. I didn't get a chance to look at the heart or lungs real good to see if I did indead get any of them. But he was broadside when I shot. The arrow went in just about mid chest, and came out at the bend in the leg on the other side. I can't figure out how he went so far.
Yeah, it was a complete passthrough, the arrow was sticking in the ground on the other side.

Muzzy, congrats again on finding your buck. He's a beauty. With all of the unfortunate "help I lost a deer" posts on this board it's nice to see one with a happy ending.

Congrads Muzzyman, great looking buck, just curious about the meat, was it OK? I shot a buck two years ago and didn't find him until the next day, meat had gone bad, really foul smelling.

Way to go, nice buck! Seems to me that buck you killed last year was pretty good too. Guess all that pre-season tinkering payed off in the end, in a big way! I guess you're shooting the right brand of bow, huh? <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> Congrats again, and way to go on giving your all to recover him.
