Here is an example of the 16 I shot last week.
Non-typical Gorss 176
Non-typical Net 172
Typical P & Y gross 151 2/8(base main frame 10)
Typical P & Y Net 147 2/8(not minus abnormal points)
Abnormal Points 24 6/8
Typical P & Y Net 122 4/8

Make sense?

Wonder what those Amish folks were feeding that guy. Makes you wonder how a deer gets that big.
All of Ohio deer are grain feed to the max with all the farming. The amish folks also grow alot of hay for there animals so that guy had all he needed. Only a couple counties south of the Beatty buck.

since when do the Amish hunt with modern weapons? A crossbow????? Are they even legal to hunt with?
Forgot about this one. I live only about twenty min north of the edge of the Amish area we call the Kenton clan in Hardin county. Although they are good old Amish, they will twist there way into using certain things that you would think they are not allowed to. They have no guns and use no electricity, but when you drive by they use alot of "modern" hand tools. The Crossbow, like some one else said has been around for a long time, thousands of years and is made of materials not containing "evil" stuff. Guns and the power lines are out, but if they can find stuff that is made of OK materials, they use. Not poking fun at them by this post just saying how they are using the CB. I get a kick out of one of the shops I go to sometimes down there and when they are in that store its like they are no longer Amish and are drolling hunters like the rest of us looking at all the cool stuff. Also in the hunting store is the only place I have ever been able to talk to them cause outside of hunting they shy away from most people.

Makes you winder if the rompala buck was real. The amish buck is enormous.
Now, why does everyone get down on the guy just because he doesn't want his deer on the books? I absolutely believe it's real, BUT it really is no one's business but his.
