I have both a True Talker and a Deer Flute. I love 'em both, I have probably had more success with the True Talker, but only because I have had it longer, both are awesome.

A long while back I asked folks here on the forum what they thoughtwas the most realistic sounding grunt tube, and the bulk of the people said the Tue Talker was it! I've since bought one and it does sound quite real. That being said, I must admit that when I tryed using it yesterday on a Huge 8pt, he ignored it and I know he was close enough to hear it. [:@]I think it was Rob who said none of them work all the time depending on the mood of the deer. This I have foundto be quite true.
I'm still a big fan of the True Talker and will always have one with me.

Mine has lasted so long you can not read the wrighting on it. If it broke
you prob. let too much spit into it! Then it weakins the wread thus, YOU
BROKE IT! This said, I can contribute atleast 5 deer harvests, and 10 more close encuonters
to the TRUE TALKER!

YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG WITH ONE. I HAVE HAD MINE FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS AND LOVE IT. I HAVE GOT RIDE OF THE OTHER ONES. THIS TIME OF YEAR DO SOME TENDER GRUNTS ALONG WITH A COUPLE TURNS OF A CAN AND YOU ARE SURE TO HAVE A BUCK CHECK IT OUT.
GOOD HUNTING.

cougars.....

Rob is coming down here to NC tohunt Spring Gobblers.....and went ahead and sent me down a River Valley mouth call with the deer flute....so that I could practice with it over the Winter.

I think he just sent it because he hates me. That thing is annyoing the &$(# out of me!
