Very pretty deer. I've always wanted to shoot a piebald.
Nice pic.

You shouldn't feel bad that it was a button OR that you spined it. You finished him off quickly and conscientiosly. And anything taken with a bow is a trophy!

Nice Piebald! I'd shoot a fawn or yearling if it was piebald. Congrats!

Check into a full body mount. If it's small it shouldnt cost that much.

Cool looking deer. I'd have shot him too, as I've never seen a piebald in the wild. It is a trophy. The meat will be absolutely delicious and tender. It will also be gone in no time! Maybe two or three sandwiches! Just kidding!

Btw, I've spined at least 3 deer, all were mature bucks. They didn't cry but each of them let out a short loud grunt as they dropped. Wasn't too bad, but it's not my favorite shot. Congrats.

Hey....probably not the place for this.....but I'm feeling melancholy.....

PRACTICE! I'd give $1K NOT to have heard that fella cry. I mean that. My second shot on him was dead nuts through the boiler room. My first should have been.

I appreciate the encouraging words.Yesterday was the most bittersweet moment of my deer hunting career (although short).
