RE: spring turkeys
I am planning on going this Spring. I have talked to some experienced turkey hunters and they are planning on taking me under their wing.
Hopefully I will get the experience I need to be a successful turkey hunter.

RE: spring turkeys
I am starting my 7th spring (bowhunt only) & my son is in his 2nd with brother having 3 seasons in. We manage shots EVERY year with the score being Turkeys 4 us 2.
We shoot from A BLIND, 3 Blade Rocky Mountain broadheads, string tracker(last 3 years) as shots are CLOSE & same set up as deer as far as poundage ect..
We have been filming our hunts & hope to have a HOW to film finished after this season. We feel we ALL could have 6 Turkeys Each if we had been shotgunnin.
We have been busted with only the BROADHEAD stickin out of the blind.
IT "IS" challenging & frustrating-BUT, the hunts are always great even thou there are not always kills. Good luck to all trin with stick n string this year...
always thankful

RE: spring turkeys
Sounds like you guys are all using the wrong broadheads, my favorite weighs 2 ounces and is size #5. LOL Just poking a little fun. Good luck with the king of the spring.
