I like to hunt by stalking and was able to stalk a young buck yesterday. I took a shot at a spike horn and then took me three hours to find it. It was a light rainy day with a lot of wind.It run in a zig-zag way and I had lost its trail. So I kept making big circles and little did I know that my circles were to big. After hunting for it for about three hours I started back to where I originally shot at it and walk right on it. It had run back towards me trying to circle me to get into a thick cedar swamp. All in all it had run about 300 yards on a double lung shot.

Good Job. I'm still waiting to let my first arrow fly. I haven't seen hyde or hair of a deer. I'm beginning to think that my Cuddeback is showing me phantom deer.

Here is a polaroid instant and it is not he best pic in the world.
I do have a few more on a 35mm camera right now though.He
is around 120 lbs. dressed, and thanks guys it is
hard to find any deer up here in these thick woods.
