I am on a roll! Arrowed a nice pig!
Tonight I set up in a different stand of oaks than the one I've been hunting. About a 1/2 hour before dark I could hear them coming. A herd of about 20 hogs came in to eat acorns. With all the racket they were making I knew my deer hunt was over. When this one got to about 10yds I drew and let fly. I hit her in the left side of her neck. In the pic you can see the exit wound on the right side of her neck. The Muzzy 3 blade 100gr BH hit a major artery. She went about 100yds with blood everywhere. Ray Charles could have blood trailed this hog. After 2 deer last week I got a good hog this week. I can't wait to see what the morning has in store. The only drawback is this pig broke my arrow. Oh well, I've got more! Time to fire up the smoker!

WOW!!!!! I bet that was awesome, You really need to change that name, dont look like a rookie to me Tex. Congrats on that pig. I thought it was going to be a huge buck, really surprised when I saw the pic. Thanks for sharing.

I shot my number 5 pig this afternoon, this one was actually a eater, a nice sow about 100 pounds.
To the one who says he wishes they were there , I dont think you do! they are pest, I have not seen a deer this year where ive been killing deer for seven years ( bow and rifle) because of them.
do yourself a favor if you want to kill one go somewhere that they are. just my 2 pennies, not trying to be a know it all.
