I have a bunch of little spots around NO VA that I like to hunt before and after work this time of year. I live in Lake Ridge and can always have room for a hunting buddy. Where do you live and do you have any land to hunt or you need to hunt with me on some land?

Saturday mornings i leavefor Fort valley/Front Royal. I have a fourty acre property in the valley that i like to hunt. I have a couple spots in the national forest i like to get into also. I live right near fairfax city, Herndon to be specific, so my drive is typically about an hour and a half. Maybe we can meet up and compare spots VA MIKE, let me know.

hey guys....i only really have one place to hunt in northern va and its in fairfax. Wanted to hunt fort belvoir this year but did not have the time to take the 8 hour IBO safety course (even though I have been bowhunting with 8 years now) I think if I head south from alexandria, I can find some places to hunt. Looking for some quick spots to hit after work...

Hey FullDraw,
I also have a friend who has a cabin in Fort Valley. Where about is your land up there. We hunt up above Larry Flieshmans chicken houses. It's getting crowded. I think some of the Mantz boys are going to hunt a stand just below us during black powder. No problems, it's a big mountain I guess.

Iknow exacly where you're talking about, theres a fire trail you walk up right? Do know ZION passage? Its the newly paved road right across the street from Jacks garage (if you're going towards the post office, dump, and the firehouse)Well my grandma's house is the white one next to that driveway. We've got about 40 acres that backs right up to the zion passage "farms" behind us. That spot you're talking about gets real busy rifle season i usally have to walkone ortwo miles to get away from everyone going in there.

I've been hunting up there with my buddy for almost 10 years and have taken some nice animals on that mountain. You have to go through a bunch of cattle gates and up the mountain to get to his property, so we usually only see one or two people a year. We hear a bunch below in the fields, but not too many by us. Now, I think one of the Mantz boys built a house up above us on the mountain, so I don't know how that will affect us. I had a great spring gobbler season up there, birds everywhere. I think that I will be up at the cabin the week of muzzleloading. Nov. 10-16, they should be chasing around by that time.
