Default SD buck down!!

Saturday Oct 7th. I walked to my ground blind that I have set on a dugout and crawled in. 3:00 pm and it is 90 and the wind is 15-30mph from the south. I sit till 6:40 with no action. HOT!!! I am wondering what I was thinking sitting here in this heat and wind. The moon has been full so I am sure they are moving late but the wind direction was perfect. Finally a doe and her twin button bucks showup and drink. Before they are done another doe and her twin doeand button show up. They drink and headback the way they came. Then a lone doe shows up followed by another set of twins and there mom. Both fawns are does this time. Then a few lone does and a spike buck. Lots of deer and action. They all drink and mill around for awhile and move off to a cut hay field. It is getting close to sunset and the spike shows up again. He is not alone this time. At 45 yds the spike and the other buck spare lightly and work down to the water. He does not give me a shot for the first few minutes. He comes around the water and stops 12 yds below my blind. Quarted to me slighly but I took the shot. He runs about 40 yds and looks back. He and the spike have no idea what happened. He dropped there and the spike was really lost and finally moved away. I have not scored him but am happy with him. My best deer so far!!
