I put some doe scent on the ground then climb up the tree with my climber, should I also spray scent in the air while in the tree stand? Won't the air current carry the scent away from the ground like it does my scent?

I've never had a deer come to scent. That's not uncommon for the grounds I frequent...
But I have from time to time poured it down the side of my tree to cover the entire air column. My thoughts are that the bark will act like a sponge and keep the scent going for awhile. I'm sure I'm not the only one thats done this.

Jachunter:
I you have not tried freshly collected deer urine (scents) then you may consider giving them a try. We had terrible results with the scents that contained preservatives. two years ago we tried freshly collected deer urine for a company in Louisiana. We have killed some really nice bucks since using their products. Fresh urine is the only way to go in our opinion.
