coldest and hotest deer hunt?
As I sat freezing in my stand this morning I wondered just how much cold a person can stand and for how long. What is the coldest day you have sat with a bow and how long did you last? While we are on the topic, what is the hottest temp you've deer hunted?

Low temp. was around zero. Highest temp. 80's. Coldest though was in the 20's in a storm that went from drizzle to freezing rain to snow in about 1-1/2 hrs. I had raingear on and was dry but was freezing.

Hottest was the low 80's, The coldest, I really don't know how cold it was when I sat down because where I was hunting the radio stations didn't come on the air until 6 am, I was gun hunting and after my mustache became a block of ice and a drip from my mustache froze to the wooden stock of my gun I decided it must be to cold for the deer!! (Okay I admit it was to cold for me) When I got back to my car and turned on the radio it was about 8am and they said it was -10! That is really cold for Va. considering I wasn't in the mountains.

Coldest I have sat for deer was -30 in northern Minnesota. The hottest temps was low 90's, actually walked to my stand wearing shorts and t-shirt and knee high rubber boots.
