winter food plots

Default winter food plots

any of you guys hunt over a food plot when there is snow on the ground?

Never done it before but I am going ot try it out this year maybe will have some luck

we got two winter wheat plots ,,,,they work best later in the season

Lots of times over standing corn. Most years we get accumulaing snow by early November - often times it never leaves until May.

The Fist picture is a standing Corn plot ( actually after season ) -- the Second picture is of Standing Soybeans - and last December we had good luckwith this soybean plot in the late season. I took one Mature doe out of the corn and another on the Soybean plot when the snow was over a foot deep.
