I have a Hoyt Magnatec that I have been shooting everydayfor about three months now. I just got some new Muzzy 3-Blade Broadheads. They shoot like they weigh 1000 grains My arrow drops like a Rock!! I know Muzzy's are agood Broadhead so it must be my Bow. Where is a good place to start? I have 12 days to get this Perfect.

The same as you, I understand that broadheads will emphasize tuning issues either bow or arrow. If you think your bow is tuned, have you tried tuning your arrows. I understand that as checking for wobble.

gota broadhead tune your bow.
first off make sure the heads and FPs are the same weight. then goto eastons website and download the tuning guide. follow the broadhead tuning guide and your problems should be solved. i think you need to adjust you nock point up or down i cant recall. shoot a group with FPs and them shoot a BH. make adjustments accordingly.
this late in the game id almost suggest lowering your sites and dial in with BHs and call it done. id hate to be adjusting stuff this late in the game. ive been shooting stricly broadheads for about a month and i got a LATE start. good luck....next year id suggest shooting broadheads earlier so your not in this situation. atleast you shot them before the season..still have time to fix it. i know theres alot of guys out there that wont shoot their BHs. then wonder why they miss or wound deer.

I shoot the Muzzys and mine drop about 1 1/2' down and 1' to the left. My groups are good, so I just adjusted my sights. I agree with Mauser...this late in the game, make the simple fix and be confident!

sounds to me like you may weant to try a lighter broadhead or simply adjust your sights. I use the 4 blade muzzy and the Muzzy phantom SS all 100 gr. and have had no problems with either one of them.

I second that, at this point in the game, you should go for whatever fix will have you confident and shooting good groups out to 35-40. I am still in the process of getting my bow finally tuned. Not good that I am still not confident with my Tribute[&:]

Wellthe real problemis that you are shooting a Hoyt Magnatec. See if you know anyone who shoots a High Country Split Force. Old school is where it's at! haha Just kidding. Hope you get it tuned up by next weekend.

There could be several problems going on. FOC percentage could be off. I discovered this on mine. I was shooting 100gr field tips and had to drop to 90gr to get them to fly right. It showed up when I put on a broadhead. Now I am shooting an 85gr Montec. Shooting darts now. This is on a GT 5575 xt 27.5 inches with Blazers and pulling 64 lbs.
The next important thing that I have been noticing alot is you need to make sure your arrow shafts have been squared. I use a G5 ASD squaring tool. NO WOBBLE NOW!
If your shafts are not squared your broadheads will not hit where your field tips do.
