Default Bowmount camcorder holders????

Anybody have GREAT success with any of these? The industry doesn't seem to have much to offer. I have this one but when you draw and especially when you shoot the camera bobs up and down as the mount flexes. It is heavy guage wire and just doesn't perform well. You cannot see arrow impact.

Hardcore, I posted this link before. I have one of these and it is very sturdy. RAM is a good company and this mount is heavy duty. It will support most camcorders but the smaller the better. It takes a good follow through and some practice but overall I have been satisfied. It is definitely heavier than your average stabilizer but that is why the practice is important. I also don't recommend a flimsy camcorder. I love it because I can rest the bottom wheel on my thigh and film with very little movement. It might take a second to load.

Thanks!!! I was wondering about the Ram mount. Amazing that none of the archery and sporting goods stores in IA offer any of these. Ram, Pineridge Archery, and the one I posted are the oonly ones I have seen offered. The Ram looks the best to me and it sounds like you are satisfied. HCH

I bought the ram thru Cabelas, it wrecked my sony camera on the second shot from a Mathews Q2.
I'd never ever buy one again!

Just curious about a couple of things 5575. How did it wreck it (internally or externally)and what poundage are you shooting? Ipracticed with mine a bit to get the feel for the follow through required to stay on target for filming and didn't have any problems but I'm only shooting 58-59 lbson my Q2. I also put rubber/foam washers betweenbetween the bow and the mount and between the mount and the camera (should have mentioned that to hardcorehunter). If your worried about damage to your camcorderHardcore there are some great camera arms from pine ridge and other companiesthat mount toyour stand or the tree, there are links right here on this site on the homepage and under the bow contest thread.

It wrecked it internally, I was shooting about 76 lbs. It only took a couple shots, I went to watch it on tv and no more camera operation.
I have a gorilla tree mount now and even video taped shooting my buck last week with it!
