Default Vane question

Dumb question but I've never really dabbled in fletching. Can I strip the existing vanes off of my Carbon Express cx300s to install blazer vanes? My WB is tearing them up. If so what is the best method and equipment to use.

Cheers

You sure can. Pro shops do it cheep but look at cabelas on line store and check out their fletching machines. It's as easy as pie.

Default RE: Vane question

I just bought the Grayling from Cabela's yesterday and did some of my new carbons, I switched this year from alumn. took about 5 minutes to familurize with the steps, then it was good to go. It does one fletch at a time. I also have the Arizona E-Z fletch for Alumn shafts, it does all 3 at a time, and does pretty good job too. I use the Fastset gel from Arizona Archery. Holds real good, then I use the fletchtight and put a small drop on the leading edge of the fletchings, this helps when using the WB so it doesn't tear at them as much.Good luck.
