I'm pumped too. I hung my stands this weekend. When I hung my last one I just sat there in the stand watching the woods for about an hour. It felt like I was hunting. I didn't see any deer but I was visualizing where the would be on opening day. It was a nice mental dress rehearsal for me. Bring it on!

192 hours (8 days) from now I'll be sitting in my stand on opening morning. Hopefully it's a day just like today...just a bit cool, I can hear the birds outside my office window and the sun is reflecting off of the low clouds.
I drive by my hunting areas every day and can see myself sitting in the stand waiting on a deer to come back to bed after feeding. It's going to be a good year.

Sunday hunting isn't allowed here in NC. I'm a religious person.....but I've always felt a man didn't need to neccessarily be in a BUILDING to be in Church. I go to Church every time I go hunting. I've got a date with the Lord in 2 days. I've been looking forward to it for a LONG time.
