I'll throw in another vote for the Snypers. They do some awesome damage and they don't require as much kinetic energy as the Spitfires.

I have used spitfires in the past and they have never failed me.
I have a buddy who swears by grim reapers. Both are fine heads

Anything from Rocket is good. I will admit, though I have no experience w/ them, I sure do like the look of those Grim Reapers.

I think I like the spitfire's myself...I'd like to make a decision this week, so I can get it all squared away....My grouping with field tips is very good, so I thought they would help....I think I am shooting 220 fps @ 55 Lbs.....I have a Hoyt MagnaTec...Hunter Maxima 250 arrows....it seems to have plenty of pop to me....but not sure if it's enough.
I'd be nervous using a mechanical with that setup. I'd want alot more KE. I seriously doubt you'll get a passthrough with a spitfire. If you are going to use a mechanical, don't use a big one like spitfires. Stick to a smaller cutting diameter (1 1/4" max) like Rocket steelheads or something similar.

The best thing for your setup IMO is a fixed cut on contact broadhead like a 2 blade magnus stinger. You'll get great penetration and 2 holes are better than one any day!

partsjay,

I read your other post and you stated you are having trouble getting fixed blades to fly straight. That means your bow is out of tune. I'd focus on fixing that problem rather than using a mechanical to cover up an out of tune bow. Get to a good pro shop and fix what's wrong. Then buy some magnus stingers. Good luck.
