i shoot a tribute and love it, i would shoot bowtech over the XT any day.
im guessing you are a short draw shooter and the bowtech will offer a lot more speed than the xt.

had a buddy buy an equalizer. He loves it. Works good as it's a bow to for smaller framed archers. I'd def. give it a shot. I've only heard great things about.

The bowtech will definitely give you the speed over the xt!

I tested all the top bows from Mathews, Hoyt and Bowtech and ended up buying the Equalizer. It is not quite the cream puff a Tribute with smooth mods is but after a few shooting sessions you won't regret the purchase as nothing comes close to it at your draw length which is the same as mine ( 26 1/2). As for dead in hand and vibration felt it is equal to any top bow.

My buddy at work has been shooting his Equalizer for about 2 months now and shooting it well. Not sure what his shop did, but he is at the far end of the draw as he can get.......27". He just shot his best score ever at a 3D tournament Sunday.

I have the Equalizer. Depending on arrow choice and bow set up you would get about 297-300fps. I'm at 26" draw at 61#. 297fps! I may get a Tribute
