Did you watch thevideo Korn Krazed Deer,wherea professional hunter was hunting deer right in the cornfield?He hung deer stands as close to the corn as he could.Then he would trample the corn,in certain area'sout to 35 to 40 yards.He made shooting lanes in the cornfield.Then he would use deer decoys and scent.
I'm sure he had permission to trample the corn or he owned it.
It worked great!He and his son killed 3 very nice buck.He said that deer bed in cornfields all the time.

If the neighbors to the NW hunt much, I would have a stand in that corner to intercept whatever they push your way. Up by the red arrow placed there for wind direction.
