A best one, is there such a thing? I have so many. I have Summits, I have Loggy's, a couple off brands and the new Gorilla's...I like most of them and have stayed hours in all of them. The Gorilla seat (Ol'man mesh seat) has to be one of the most comfortable. I like how the Loggy's double strap to the tree...

I have a bunch of hang ons myself too.......the best of these IMO are the Summits. The new "Deer Deck" and "Deer Deck Lite" are awesome stands. Double heavy duty ratchet straps maker them bulletproof and the seats are terrific. You don't sit on a pad over a hard frame, it's actually a suspended sling style like their climbers. Extremely comfortable.
I also have a "Copperhead" and there is simply no easier stand to hang period. It has a full size platform that mirrors the climbers so it has a lot of room out front and the Triangular thick sling style seat is the most comfortable made. The shape doesn't create any pressure points on the back of your thighs.
If you want a good one, I'd recommend any of those 3 for sure.

Chippewa wedgeloc, the best I have ever owned.,I like my summit bushmaster too. Also I thought I would add the Chippewa wedgeloc is the most rock solid easy to set up stand I have had,if you get additional harnesses you can hang that stand easily in another location. One more thing, they make some or maybe all of there stands to fit different height hunters check them out here http://www.chippewawedgeloc.com/

RE: What is the best hang on tree stand?????
Thanks for the info so far guys....
The number one thing I am lookin for is the stand I can sit the longest in.
I am 5'9" bout 165 lbs.
I own a tree lounge which I could sit in for days...
but i want a stand I can leave up in my back woods by my house to sit in after work for 3-4 hours.
The one that got stolen, my butt and back would get sore in bout an hour.
So thats why im here lookin for this info before I make a purchase
Thanks again guys.

Save yourself the headache and get a gorilla silverback. Really any Gorilla product would be great but so far this is my favorite. Recently got the new Expedition but havent tried it out yet. Looks good but im not sure about the mesh seat yet, i guess we'll see in 32 days. I havent tried an API but had a summit after just two seasons half the finish came off. Very suprising considering they spend 8 months a year in the barn not out in the elements. Im sure the structural integrity is still fine but its very disconserning to spend 250 bucks on a rusty treestand. Just my experiences.

I know it expensive but it will save you in the long run. Get a lone wolf. It is expensive at first, but if you get quick connects where all you have tooo do is hook the stand to the tree it is awesome. It i expensive at first, but if you have a few quick connects, you can have 3 or 4 set that all you have to do is attach the stand to a tree and your ready to go.
