Default for people that hunt in texas!!

i wanted to ask all of yall that hunt in texas or in west texas cus thats where i hunt if they experinced a "no" rut this past season?because usually we see bucks running around chasing does and this past year we did not see any action we did every thing we could foodplots, corn, doelures, bucklures, and pee, rattling, calling, and we did not see one buck this year the only thing we got were does and spikes i really had doubts for going back again but i still went because i love hunting AND LOVE THE ADRENALINE BUT WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED IN THE DEER ACTION WE SAW THIS YEAR AND I JUST WANNA KNOW IF ANY OF YALL HAVE EXPERENCED THE SAMETHING OR ARE WE DOIN SOMETHING WRONG?

Can't say that I saw the same thing. I hunt the eastern panhandle and we had plenty of action, I would say at least average if not a little better. Rut seemed normal, didn't do anything special, just scouted hard earlyand played the odds. I always hunt as low impact as I can, and that helps when the pressure starts turning on all around you.

YEA SEE BUT THERE IS THE SAME PRESSUE THAT THERE ALWAYS IS WHICH WHAT WE TRY TO KEEP AS MINIMAL AS POSSIBLE BUT NOT TO SURE ABOUT THE PLACES AROUND US BECAUS EONE OF THE BIGGEST AREAS IS A HIGH FENCED RANCH AND NOTHING COMES FROM THAT SAIDE UNLESS IT FLOODS AND THATSWHEN WE SEE THE BIGGER BUKS BUT I STILL JUST DONT KNOW WHY THIS HAPPENED TO US AND I HOPE IT AIN THE SAME THING THIS COMING YEAR
