Recomend Am or Pm Sit? aerial picture
Just wondering when you guys/gals suggest I sit the creek around (middle yellow dot)early in the season. Its about 200yds behind the owners house and pond. I can sneak in right behind the pond fairly quietly. Its almost a bottleneck behind the pond, im just not sure how close to the area the deer are bedding. I have a picture of a few nice ones travelling north up the creek @ around 10:30am, but that was early august so I dont think it tells me a lot. The owner also has a big shed antler from back there. Theres a few trails zig zagin, but nothing majoror concrete. I dont have permissionon the northern fields, im good pretty much to the creek. Any suggestionswhen to set-up early season?

I think the stand against the pond should be moved to the other side of the pond. Looks like a nice funnel there also. Or right at the front of the pond you could catch them going either way.

I THINK I WOULD TRY AND SET STANDS UP ACCORDING TO THE WIND. IF YOU ARE SEEING DEER IN THE AM.THEN GO IN BEFORE LITE AND SIT TILL NOON. I NOTICE DURING THE HOT WEATHER HERE IN KENTUCKY MOST OF THE DEER MOVE IN THE AM HOURS FROM 5 AM TILL AROUND 9 AM.
GOOD HUNTING.

I never like to hunt in the AM during the early season.
I always like to hunt in the evening when I can catch the deer on the way to feed.
In the morning I'm too worried about bumping deer on their way back to their bedding areas.
