Incense for deer? Looks like a fire hazard to me. Anyone ever try the stuff?

NO, I gave up on commercial scents a few years ago. The deer have to be able to tell the difference. I prefer scent free.

I have seen it used. Worthless.

I believe the "technology" comes from the 60's/70's where people used to burn that inside to cover the Marijuana smell. (idiots!)

If you can get it lit in the field, you have to pray that there is not much of a breeze. If there is a steady breeze, it only makes the incense burn out faster. Longest I have seen it burn is 2 minutes. Then what do you do?

You would have the same luck if you ate a piece of apple pie the night before you went hunting, and farted all day long. (my personal opinion of course)

If your talking about them smoking sticks that suppose atract deer.
Yea I tried them and they do work to an extent at diffrent times of the season.
Before the rut you only use one stick and when the rut is on then you use both ( A ) and ( B )
You should burn these sticks in a open area where the wind can carry the sent .

A FRIEND TRIED THEM A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, WITH NO LUCK. I FEEL LIKE YOU DO COULD BURN YOUR WOODS UP WHILE YOUR TRING TO GET OUT OF A STAND. FOR A GOOD LURE GO TO www.bordercrossinglabs.com. THEY MAKE A LURE CALL DEER HERD IN A STICK, THE STUFF SMELLS LIKE REAL DEER. LAST YEAR I HAD MORE DEER ON MY TRAIL TO STAND THEN EVER BEFORE.
GOOD HUNTING.
