Bug spray
Just finnished cleaning up 5 stand sites in 92 deg.
The skeeters killed Me, opener is 2-1/2 weeks off, I picked up a full face net. Is there ANY bug spray that is 100% sent free ?
I am only 15-18' up and do not want to get bust by the bug spray.
Thanks,
Slack

RE: Bug spray
There's bug spray that has the fresh earth scent to it, but I think it's about $5+ for a little can. After last year's season I picked up about 4 cans for $1 each.....haven't used it yet so I don't know how well it works.

RE: Bug spray
I'll be trying the thermacell this year although "No Stinkin' Bugs" works really well. Thats the expensive stuff. I'm not sure if the bug spray worries the deer so much, it's the human scent they're most catious of.

RE: Bug spray
I picked up a thermacell and a thermascent last month. Haven't got to use them yet, but I'm glad to hear some positive comments about the thermacell 'cause the bugs will definately still be around on the 9/15 opener.

RE: Bug spray
I don't like to use any repelent. If the bugs can smell it , the deer can too. Buy a headnet and suffer a few bites here and there. But then again mosquito bites don't bother me that much, I must have some type of resistance to them. GOOD LUCK!!!
