I love the pure entertainment value of the hunting shows. Nothing gets me more pumped for the season than watching a good drury video the night before a hunt.

Yea, I mean, high fence or not, (which most don't emphasize, except dallenbach
) we still get to see monster bucks hunted and i like seeing those bruisers. Some take it a little overboard, but alot of them are great shows. They get me pumped also. I have to say I watch a whole lot of them each week. Tuesday night pursuits whoops all a$$! I miss that show called "christensen arms outdoors". you guys remember that one? it shows that deer bodyslam that other one when it's coming on, I love that. I wont lie, I love hunting shows.

I watch what evers on when I turn on the tv but some of shows that I try to watch are Predator Quest, Jim Shockeys, eastmans hunting (although it dosen't seem to be on now?)primos and Jim zumbos.

I've seen far too many bad shows which exhibit a combination of deplorable methodologies, gut churning commercialism, and/or "hosts" having an accent that I can't quite peg for being southern or for just having a load a sh.. in their mouths, that I longer wish to watch or be associated with any part of them. When I see camouflage on TV, I can't hit the remote fast enough.

I don't bash the shows all that much, but I'd like to see the why and where of stand placement. Usually its because the outfitter did it for them. I'd like to see some aerial/topo photos of the land and learn how they came to choose the spot.Other than that I like alot of the shows, but never scoped rifle hunting from a huge blind in Texas[:'(]
