Military Charcoal Suits???
Anybody ever tried using the Military issued charcoalsuits?My cousin(treehunter)got us about 2-3a piece from work for free.Brand new still in the packages.Real nice suits and like I said brand new.I got to wash them though cause these things really have the charcoal in them.

We were cleaning out an old warehouse on a military base and found them. We were just going to throw them away but I decided to keep them to use for hunting. They are, by today's standards, training suits dated back to 1986. They should work great for hunting though.

I agree. I used mine when I was at Ft. Hood. Dropped a doe at around 5yds and I was out in the open. Those suits have more thsn 1 use atleast. Problem is that after a few washes they just become a jumpsuit. The charcoal filiment doesn't last long.

I picked up a NATO chem suit(woodlands camo pattern) on ebay a couple of years ago for $25. Regardless of whethercharcoal suits actually work, you can't beat the price. Especially if you got"ours" for free.
