Worth mentioning.....TV show last night
We had a discussion here the other day about the hunting shows (I think it was Atlas's thread....now that I think about it)that show the hunters going bezerk right after a kill shot.
Well....there was a hunter onTV, last night (Men's Channel)....that was bear hunting in Canada. When he released the arrow.....and it struck his prey (and a FINE shot it was, BTW).......he became VERY emotional ....right on camera. He stated....through tears...how he'd waited and trained his WHOLE LIFE for that moment.....and they didn't try to hide OR disguise these emotions from the camera.....the audience.
It was refreshing. I'm not saying this is how it should be done.....I'm just saying this is closer to the emotion I feel than any smack-down comments or contrived dances or rituals. If someone saw the show and give credit....by all means do so. I'll just say again.....that it was refreshing to see.

Those reactions are always the best! Does anyone remember Hale and Ward from Virginia on Dream Season Two? I think it was Hale who got pretty emotional after killing a big buck with a bow.Showing emotion makes the show more realistic and easier for me relate to.
