Nice buck. A shooter for many, that's for sure. Where I'm hunting, I'll hold off for something a little bigger. 10 points or more, unless its a 150 8 pt or so.

Some wouldn't but he'd be my best buck to date so absolutely.

Well for me..you obviously have trail cams out and probably scout the area. If he's the big boy in your area. Then yes. Now if you get pics of a larger one, you may hold out as long as possible but keep him in mind!.

Sure there are always deer that don't get caught on film or seen..but play the odds. If he's a dandy for your area or a personal best. Shoot straight and be proud!!

He looks real nice in that head on shot, real wide. But not much tine length. I know there are bigger bucks in my area. So I am holding out.(I think.) Hope he doesn't walk by opening week. That said he might be the biggest buck in your area. If so go for it.

It all depends on the area and if it is big for you. He is a nice one for sure.

He's an awesome looking buck, but brother James. you're in Wisconsin (monster buck country). If you're asking, then you must thinkthere are bigger bucks in the woods. I say if you're still asking in late August or early September, then pass him up. Whenhe's finished out and you're like wow....he's a keeper. Good luck.

No for me. He just doesn't appear to be very mature. 3&1/2 yr old at the most, prob 2. He doesn't have a deep chest, heavy mass, pot belly, or a stubby head. He's got a nice rack, but will get much better with a year or two of growth. I'd bet there are bigger deer in the area. Patience!
