Default Special offer for HNI members - Pine Ridge Camera Arm

Ladies, Gentleman, and everyone else,

I recently spoke with Brian Bychowski at Pine Ridge Archery and he informed me that for anyone who is looking to video their own hunts this fall for the HNI bowhunting contest he is willing to extend a special deal on their Pro Bow Cam arm.

http://www.shopatron.com/product/product_id=DUB2547/101.1.5331.0.0.0.0

Regular price on this arm is $49.95 - right now its on sale for $44.95 and if you Pine Ridge directly at 877-746-7434 between 9 am and 3:30 pm CST and use the code "HuntingNet" you can pick them up for $42.50/each.

This is a great tool for videotaping your own hunts when you don't have a cameraman available. Many thanks go out to Brian and the guys at Pine Ridge for this great offer.

I am also interested but would like to hear from someone who has used this arm. I have looked at several others that were not smooth when adjusting them.
Thx

my friend has one and it is pretty good and he was wanting me to use it to film him but now he knows exactly how to use it after experimenting and he can completely film himself now without me so we can be in different locations and we can both hunt instead of one filming another hunting

I use a gorilla it gets the job done but is a little sticky and makes it hard to be smooth

If any of you guys have any good whitetail footage, I am working with a newgroup to produce a hunting video series titled "Real World Whitetails". It will contain mostly home footage from normal everyday whitetail hunters. Big bucks are great but we are also looking for other unique footage taken while deer hunting. The only rule we currently have is "no guided or outfitted hunts". We want to see everyday hunters who did their own scouting, hanging stands, etc. Our first DVD will be availble around January 1st, 2007. If you have any footage please email me with the details. Thanks

Back to the subject of camera arm mounts for hunting- I found one that I really like. It is very similar to the one mentioned on this thread but it does not have the strap going around the tree, instead it uses a screw in mount. I like it because it is sometimes tough to get that strap around big ole trees. Check it out at www.ardisam.com It is called a Yukon Tracks Tree Pod camera mount. I bought mine at Gander Mountain for around $50
