Default Carbons, or Overdraw with aluminums?

I have carbons now and I am not exactly confident that I will get the penetration I want in exchange for the speed I get. Should I stick with the carbons for speed, or go with an overdraw and shorter aluminums? Would it make a difference?

In reality we need more info, we need to know your bow, poundage, size arrow and broadhead and the type of rest you now use. I will say this in my experience adding a overdraw has caused more problems then it is worth as I said thats in my opinion only.
