Default When to remove a trail cam?

Just wanted to see when everyone took their trailcams out of the woods. I have heard that they spook deer, and since this is my first year using them, I wanted to get an idea for when to ge them outta the woods.
Thanks again

I only move them if I am not getting picks... Or if I want to scout another area. If you see the majority og the picks that people post on this site I think for the most part the deer look pretty relaxed. They get used to it...

I have been pulling mine the first of September so everything will be undisturbed by Oct 1.
That is just my habit though. It may not make a difference but I like to know things have been
quiet for a while. I still use them in season some, but not near my stands. They are fun to
monitor scrapes during the rut. My .02.

I set two of mine on a field edge, last year. It is my primo spot. The deer avoided the field like the plague for almost the entire bow season. They do spook deer. Sold the Cuddeback and kept the Leaf for a security camera.

I don't believe the flash spooks all of the deer. I'm sure that some get a little jumpy around it. To find out though, I'm going to put my homebrew and Leaf River IR on the same tree. I'm going to put the IR on video mode and the homebrew in picture mode. Hopefully the deer will cooperate and I'll see just exactly how they react.
