Rear opening expandables (Snypers, Rage). Fly like a field point, guaranteed to open, penetrate like a fixed head, and leave huge entrance holes.

Go to www.ragebroadheads.com and watch the video on how they work and open. You willLOVE them.

Even tho I've come around to accept and even use an mechanical I still choose fixed because too many people use a mechanical for a fix all for a badly tuned bow...

Been shooting fixed for 8years and want to change to something different.I was going to try the Slick tricks this year for hunting but tried Grim Reapers and felt more confident than ever before. My groups are tighter and they fly so true, just like my field points. Slick Tricks are good flyers too but they didn't group as good when shooting over 30yards. So this year I'm hunting with mechanicals.

I just started practicing with the g-5 montec fixed blade and i love them. Just one piece to them and they fly great. I have had good results using spitfire but I don't use them because they don't do good for shooting hogs.
