Kyle, I dont know much about the W.H.A., except that it is a hot topic and it is being replied to constantly.

I heard from another chat room that they took an advertisement in some smutty magazines (e.g. Hustler, Penthouse,) ..who knows if its true though

Larry Flynt.

I also heard of this only today, so I've read ALL the posts regarding the WHA. I have to agree with the overhelming majority on this one, the WHA is bad for all hunters.

Yeah, and taxes started off small a number of years ago too!!! [:@]Make any real money in the good ol' US of A today, and you're paying nearly half of your earned income to subsidize others now.

Ever heard the phrase "Evil flourishes when good men do nothing?" I am extremely proud of the hunting community in general for recognizing this joke of a pseudo-tour for doing nothing but inviting the wrong expectations to be set by outsiders for ourselves.
See the devil horns are poking their evil heads all over this issue.

Are you kidding me with the tax analogy?

One thing I don't kid about is money. The comparison is perfectly valid: Sell the concept on a small level, and slip it in under the radar screen. Gradually slip in more and more while no one's really paying attention, and do it so stealthily that it doesn't really attract attention. Several years go by, and ... it's too big a machine and too many people are getting fed off it to turn the tide.

In the case of taxes, it's to the point where the producers are punished for being successful. The problem is, as the old saying goes, if you rob Peter enough to pay Paul, pretty soon... you're all petered out.

Let the misguided thoughts of the pro-WHA people become more mainstream, and true hunting and our sport suffers big-time, just the same. Start small, supporters who can't see the forest for the trees jump on board, and years later, it's too late to turn the tide.

Let anyone try to take away my hunting rights -- and that's what this travesty opens the door to years down the road -- and you're darn right you're going to see my horns!!

I think this is the worst thing that could of happen the non hunters and the someorganizationsalready hate the idea of hunting now there just adding more fuel to the fire. Just another thing they can complain about they take wining and complaining as serious as most of us do hunting After they get one thing they want they go after more darn liberals. You can think what you think but this is what i think.

ok, i don't completely understand this. Would they still use bows? how could you have a dart stuck to an arrow and not do some serious damage to the animal. Is this crap intended to be used with real guns and real bows. I just dont see how you could limit the power of a bow, enougth to not hurt the animal and still put it to sleep.

Look at all the Fawns who can't understand why this is a bad thing for hunting. Maybe they should have little trolls under their sceen names. Its obvious to me that their are people signing into this site just trying to defend this Crap organization. Look through all the posts and see how long most have been around as members. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I see the same crap happen around election times.

"Its obvious to me that their are people signing into this site just trying to defend"

...On this site! People with a bias?

I know some of you guys are genuine in your dislike of this type of outdoor activity and I respect that, however I view this as a much bigger issue,How does iteffect personal freedom? If personal freedom is protected, hunting is preserved, if it is infringed on then it is threatened. As I see it you would support legal action against this group and as a by product create a broad law that could be used against all hunters in the future by some anti hunting group. How do you think the news could spin this issue here? Wouldn't be good.

nodog, I actually think you bring up a very valid point with this, and because of your reasoning I wouldn't want to see actual legislation enacted to stop this group.

It is my sincere hope, however, that the public at large will vote with their dollar bill -- meaning I hope that what happens is exactly what has happened thus far: The outcry over thismess will be so loud andclear in our disgust for this travesty that the WHA will understand their kind is not wanted within our ranks, and there's no money to be made here; they should move on to another industry with their perverted ways.

-edited to change "inacted" to "enacted"... Boy, you know I'm ticked when I misspell a word!! [:@]

You noticed that too ?
We here in Indiana had a similar situation when the pressure to shut down the deer and elk farms began , lots and lots of little trolls on the websites stirring the crap tank and agitating everybody . The sportsmen of this country have more than made their feelings known on how they feel about the WHA , it's in every paper I've seen lately , on the local news , and even on the internet news sites . If you "haven't heard about it" by now you've probably been living under a rock and need tocrawl back under it . Damned trolls ...
