A.E. - Excellent post. IMO: Many factors are in play that led to shots succeeding or failing to pass through. It could be the broadhead, shaft spine stiffness, total arrow weight, etc. Even the slightest breeze causes the arrow to try and correct itself and in doing so looses some of its KE. Just my 2 cents worth, and again; good read.
