As you have read, I need rubber boots...the problem is the size. I wear a size 17. Does anyone know where I can find a boot of this size. I have already called Cabelas, LaCrosse, Rocky, Danner, and Red Wing. No one seems to know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have been looking on the internet for you and the largest size that I can find is a 15. Maybe call Rocky, or Muck and ask if they make a larger size and it is just not listed.

If I had size 17 feet I'd just walk to my stand barefoot........the tracks would keep out any tresspassers.

What's a size 17 even look like? I'm picturing my keyboard with toes.

Worse case YooperMike, use your standard boots and spray heavily with Scent Killer prior to heading the field. I've worn standard boots and have done this without detection. Make sure you spray pant legs and boots well. I now wear rubber boots for wet enviroments more than scent control. Scent Killer is fantastic.

Thanks guys...the keyboard with feet is a pretty good guess on size! I've never had problems with people following me into the woods! I sent an e-mail to bigshoes.com so hopefully they come through. Rob, I usually wear my regular boots, but that has been at home where we bait, so human scent is all around, but i'm a little paranoid being in IL now, so I want some rubbers. If I have to though, i'll just give them a Scent Killer bath. Thanks!

Try XtraTuffs they are the staple for commercial fishing up here in AK so they should have some big sizes, but I don't know about a 17! Hey, do you want to go goat hunting? As a non-resident you won't be able to get a tag without a guide, but I've got a pack you can borrow.
