RE: Big Buck pics
I hunt is Schuyler, so we are pretty close.
Just talked with the farmer today and he said the deer have been hitting the beans already like crazy (down to 2 inches). I am not even sure there are many beans on the stalks yet.
At least 6 deer in the one field each night and he said some have nice velvet racks. I need to get trail cameras or invest in the remote camera products they have out now so I can view them from my desk. It is hard to check the cameras from 250 miles away!
How much is land going for in Henderson County per acre these days?

Henderson county leases are going anywhere from $15 to $35 an acre. All depends on how many outfitters are bugging the landowners. The funny thing is the outfitter that is jacking up the prices there is from the west coast? I would really like to know what benefit an out of state outfitter could offer to his hunting clients. I would hope he has some local guides glassing and scouting--I mean the outfitter is suppose to be familiar with the property and deer on that property right? That's why they get $2500 to $3500a week huh? [&:]
