I listened to Fred Bear
When I was a whole lot younger, I bought a record (For you young guys, that's kinda like a CD, but big and black.) of Fred Bear and Kurt Gowdy talking bow hunting. I listened over and over to their campfire chat and laughed and learned. For kicks, I got it out and listened to it last week. A few days later, I got my biggest yet whitetail buck. Thanks Fred for sharing your secrets! Jim

RE: I listened to Fred Bear
The guy was a truly great man. He talked about the basics and his love for the sport. I always believed that he created modern bowhunting which gives millions pleasure and employs thousands.

There will never be another Fred Bear nor will there another man with the integrity he had.
