If you purchase the hang-on with the sticks.. you will not be disappointed! Walk your stand locations before hunting season, trim your lanes, then take your stand home with you. The Lone Wolf is easy to master, it usually takes less than ten minutes to put one up a good tree once lanes have already been determined. Even in the dark!

I have one of each of there stands. I think the versatillity I have useing them all really gives me an edge. If I had to choose just one it would be a hang-on with 4 sticks, you can easly and quietly get into any tree with that set up. But, I like the light weight and ease of use of the hand climber best. Just can't get into every tree with it.

Thanks for all the responses! How quiet are the sticks to pack and unpack? They say they all "connect" together when backed, but how securely do they stay together? I agree, i really like the versatility idea of the sticks and hang on, but noise was my one concern. Thanks again.

If your carefull you can pack and unpack the sticks from the stand very quietly. I often sneak into staging areas within 75 yards of bedded deer and hang sticks and stand for my evening position. I have shot several nice bucks just after they rise from there beds.
The sticks secure by fitting into positions at the bottom of the stand and the seat, then bungee cords are used to hold tight to the stand. I silent my stand / sticks even more by taping contact points with camo tape.
Being mobile with this "system" has been responsable for most of my trophy bucks. Most of the real Slob's I have taken were taken the very 1st time I ever hunted that particular tree. I like to locate the big buck bedding areas and staging areas in Feb. and March, then stay the heck away till every thing is perfect during the season then slip in and set up quietly catching the buck off guard... The stand and stick system is a key ingrediant.
