Got 3rd archery kill in 4 years last night PA
Heres my story.. i got home school last niight and me and my neighbor, Dave, went out into the woods on the ATV... i knew a good spot behind the house and I got up my tree and he got up one about 60 yards away... he made soo mucjh noise i thought id never see one.. but at about 4:45 i spotted a deer walking about 80 yards away.... it was about 90 degrees to my left and i was grunting at it repeatedly... finally at about 5 0'clock it came trotting towards me when it got about 20 yards away i drew back and gave it a little "baaa" it stopped right there and i peppered it about 10 yards away..
i saw my arrow stickin in it when it ranby me.. the deer was angeling towards me when i shot it so the arrow didnt got clear through.. i watched it run for about 60 yards and i sawit drop.. i waited until almost dark befor i started trackin it.. i could only find tiny specks of blood for aboiut 20 yards until it finally quit bleeding.. .. i knew i hit it and i knew it was down.. so i just took my time(there was snow on the ground last night which really helped)... and looked where it went by looking at the snow/dirt/leaves kicked up on the ground... my dad and neighbor stoped and were sayin"looks like it went in a little circle right here".. when i shined the flashlight up and ther it was layin dead 5 yards away..... a dead button buck..
MY 3RD KILL W/ A BOW IN 4 YEARS!! 6th over all.. im 15 years old... so i got a bunch of pics w/ it.. .. i reallized that i put my cardeer necklace on b4 i went out.. i havent wore it for a fewweeks and it brang me luck last night!!

It's funny how you can almost set your watch on those deer showing up at 4:45. Just enough shooting light left to get your blood flowing!
Nice job being patient and persistant on the recovery.
