I use string leeches and they work great! If you do though I woulddefinately serve them in and they will last much longer.
??? Huh? I'm probably missing something. How could you use the leeches w/o serving them in? I guess it would be possible but can't imagine it. I had the pro shop serve mine in. They didn't last a month. At least they gave me some extras. I think I still have them. Or maybe I threw them away. I should have known better when the owner of the pro shop was trying to sell me on them and said he shot them. I looked at his bow and there was just some little pieces of rubber served in on. He kind of said "Well....uh....I shoot alot". Pretty funny but a waste of time and money.

It happens all the time! You'd be surprised at the people who go buy a new bow that come standard with string leeches in the string (unserved)andthey shoot the bow that way then bash the leeches because they flew out.Sorry you had such bad luck with the leeches but my experience with them has been positive and i probably have at least 500 shots on the ones i currently have (served) in my string and they still look fine.I use to use cat whiskers and they work great too and if i started having problems with the leeches thats probably what i'd go back to but for now i'll stick with the leeches.

In my old Hoyt Raider they fell out all the time shooting. On my Vipertec they didn't.

i think i am going to go with cat whiskers.

Your old Raider most likely didn't have a "twisted" string like the Vipertec. This is why they would come out on the Raider and not the Vipertec.

Guys I think there are factors why they fall out.One I would bet is the high acute angle of the bowstring @ full draw, the draw length, the poundage ,string materials, possible strands in differing string materials. They may work for some set ups as they did for me yet not for others. They work in my hoyt havoc, but not in my Hoyt Razer tech.Whiskers work great in my Razer tech.
