Hunting the rut w/SNOW
Has anyone archery hunted the rut with snow on the ground. Snow is forecast this Thur, fri, Sat in New york (9j). I have yet to hunt the prime of the rut with a few inches on the ground. Will this affect deer activity. The temps should be in the low 30's that is well below the average temp for this area. Thoughts???

If I had those conditions coming, I'd be in the tree already and drooling...
As long as you don't get wind over 10-15 mph, should be fantastic. Snow makes them easier to see, as well as where they've been and where their going... I love deer hunting with snow on the ground...
Good Luck.
