RE: API cable climber
Well, don't panic yet API users. It's not all of them. This link has the phone number and a description of the problem. If you fall in the guidlines.... don't use it. I've had my API for years and never had a problem. I did replace the cables once and the shrink tube a couple times a year. I just got two new sets of THEIR shrink tubing because none of the electrical supply stores around here had the right size. This new shrink tubing I thought was cheap stuff at first and harder to use. BUT... after installing it and using it for 3 weeks I think it's FAR better than the old black stuff. Here's the link....

Or make sure someone knows where you are and have that full body harness hooked up.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> I'm sure they'd rather not have the recall.... but it beats the crap out of lawsuits. Outland sports must just be wishing they never bought API. Seems like they've had one problem after another since they bought it. API was the King of the Hill when they bought it. I'm not sure they've kept that status at all.
