Quickspin fletchings....?

RE: Quickspin fletchings....?
I realy like them and do use them but I know of others that hate them. I would recomend fletching 3 arrows with and 3 with another brand and see for yourself if they make a difference. I do feel they help shrink my groups, on down side is they do tend to slow the arrow down a bit faster than normal fletchings, but unless you plan on shooting over 50 yards its not enough to notice.

I have use them now for two seasons and they have definitely shrunk my groups. I have 3 friends that I fletch arrows for and they have also switched to the quickspin and love them. Idahoelk is right that they may slow down the arrow a little bit, but I don't shoot past 50-60 yards and it really doesn't matter. I would recommend them to anyone who bow hunts.

Unless you saw them on the arrows at the store, i dont think they actually come with them. I went to buy new arrows, beman, and the guy at the pro shop said that those were just in the ad, and he would have to put them on for me. It might have just been the different model for me so the ones your looking at might have them on.

For hunting, I dont like them. They are louder than other vanes (not enought to make a difference), and they tend to cause your arrow to lose speed at longer distances. They tend to drop more than other vanes at 25 yards and out. They also are not very durable. Just what I noticed last summer. I gave them a try most of all summer and went back to blazers.

I like them and won't switch back to something else unless I can't buy them. When I fletched up my arrows I did not have to resite my bow or anything. Shoots great.
If you like to stack arrows while shooting or blowing through the targets then they aren't very durable. But I am still shooting a set of arrows that I fletched up a year ago and I am having no problems.

I found heating them takes a lot of the wrinkle out but you've got to heat them just about until they catch fire. I agree they are not as durable as other vanes and they cost a small fortune! They do impart a faster spin to the arrow as promised but I don't know if it makes a $20/dozen arrows difference in accuracy.
