I always stand to shoot.
During high activity times I try to stay standing, if things slow down I'll sit.

It's only proper to stand out of respect for the life you are about to take.

I read something like that once in a F&S or some other mag. It's stuck with me ever since.

I've killed bucks standing and sitting, It really depends on the situation for me. Most of the time I have been able to detect the animal comingso Istand and get ready, but every now and then a deer slips in too fast. I dont mind shooting them while staying seated versus trying to stand if they are very close. I am very comfortable shooting either way and I practice shooting my bow while sitting quite a bit. The last 2 of6 bowkills of mine, I have been seated.

I try to stand and have shot most of them that way. I have been caught with my pants down so I had to shoot sitting. Either way the critter folded up!
