Default HIP VS SHOULDER STRAP

im looking to buy a new quiver and could use some suggestions. looking at either a hip quiver or the shoulder strap. if anyone uses the shoulder strap style does this just get in the way when your hauling a stand and climbing sticks around? and some of the hip quivers look like they would just get in the way when still hunting through thick brush. any pros and cons or advise i can get would be great. i would also like to keep the price kinda reasonable, i cant see myself spending $100 on a quiver.

thanks for any help

ok, not that anyone really cares but i decided on a quiver
the bushmaster side quiver with shoulder strap, a little pricey but this way i cant loose.

thanks for all the help [:'(]

LOL.......oh yeah for anyone else that might be looking into this i would advise not to do a search for QUIVER if your girlfriend, fiance or wife is around. this will pull up more toys for her than it will for you. and we all know where that conversation can get us, i know where it got me anyways ..........LOL

Guess the response is a bit late but, here ya go. I use a hip quiver, I really like it, however in thick stuff it does get in the way and caught up. I'm going to be going back to a on the bow quiver I think or at least testing one out in bear season. Let us know what you think of it.

THANKS KIRBY,

ill for sure let you know if like the bushmaster or not. ive never used anything but an on the bow quiver, and as soon as i get to my stand it comes off, and i really dont like shooting with a quiver on my bow, i find it distracting. so because i find it distracting i dont really give still/stalk hunting the effort i should, just becauseim not comfortable shooting my bow with the quiver on. but this year i have moved from the flat lands of illinois to the ozarks where i think i will be doing alot more still/stalk style hunting than i have in the past. i hope changing quivers will help a little with my confidence. thanks for the feedback, id like to hear more about your bear hunts with a bow, ive never had the chance to hunt bear but i met a guy since my move thats gonna take me this fall, cant wait.
