Aluminum or Carbon Shafts
I was looking online at Cabela's selection of arrows. I noticed that the selection of carbon arows and bare shafts was much more extensive than aluminum. Just wondering if you guys use carbon or aluminum arrows to HUNT?

Why isn't there a selection for both...I shoot Easton ACC's, aluminum wrapped with carbon. Check on the price of them...[&:]
I guess I have the tools to add an option so there ya go ACC's and other users...

Without going into a great long diatribe.... I wouldn't hunt with carbon arrows, even if someone offered to pay me to do it. Too much trouble. Aluminum is still the best bang for your buck hunting arrow.
As of last year,I've beenshooting nothing but wood. I started my years of archery with wood arrows. Now that I've passed my 50th year of shooting bows-n-arrows,Idecided I wantto finish myyears of archery with wood arrows. Shooting wooden arrows from bows made of beautiful exotic woods. What a luxury!

Carbons....but I recently bought a dozen XX78 super slam select 2214s... I miss that "shink" sound when the shafts hit each other.
When I brought them in to get cut to size, the guy at the shop said "you shooting these telephone poles?"
We'll see.
