Default stop the bashing/photoshop comments

Alright guys, I've been a part of this site for long enough to know what goes on here. I love this site. I spend all of my extra time here and I enjoy commenting and posting. I am getting so sick of a few things i've been seeing recently....Just cause somebody's shot a great deer doesn't mean that it was photoshopped. And don't bash people you don't like..i.e. the nugent thread. This is getting ridiculous guys. We're on here to help eachother out and give input. If you don't like somebody don't post. Just because a celebrity takes a big deer doesn't mean that it was drugged. The whole Jimmy Houston thing has really got people thinking the wrong way on this site. I want to see constructive criticism. All we're doing is tearing eachother apart here. We're all sportsmen...we all want to fight for the same rights of hunting fishing and the outdoors. Don't you love what you do???? I love being in the outdoors, especially bow hunting. We can't sit on this site and rip eachother apart. If somebody shoots a big deer don't say it's photoshopped, congratulate the other person. If they didn't take the deer or animal ethically, then there's no honor in it, and they know it, so they won't post. I want to get on this site and see comments that are helping eachother out. I know personally i've bashed on products, but people are an entire different story. If you've got something to say about products or why you don't think they work or why they do etc...that's fine. But as far as the photoshop/penned and drugged deer/bashing people issue, let's try to cut it out. Let's start helping eachother out instead of tearing eachother down.....

Human nature is both a beautiful and terrible beast , if that weren't the case we'd be pretty damned boring , now wouldn't we ?

I'm sorry BDH, all I could think of when I read that was Cindy Brady crying:

"Bobby! Mommy and Daddy are getting a divorce!....Waaaah!"

I started chuckling and now I just can't take anything seriously!

Sorry man. [&o]

Exactly why Len and I stopped posting pictures of our kills. Yes I said kills and not harvest. Tough. Anyway, everytime we posted a picture someone wanted to find fault with our animal of choice, the shot, the entry, the whatever. It was rediculous. We now post nothing except maybe this one. Before we posted arrow damage shots, heart shots, entrance and exits, all sorts of things that could help people when trying to figure a deer hit out. BUT, it always only took 1 or 2 post before the ethics posse started trying to find flaws. I didn't hunt much this year but Len did. I think he shot 16 or 17 deer with the bow. Last year he had 20 something. I think anyone that has shot that many deer can do more good than harm with a picture, but not according to the ethics posse. SO, now we say, "Got another. Here's the picture"

I know and I don't blame you David. God forbid somebody post a pic of a great deer they shot..... only to hear it shot down by guys for unethical hits/blame on photoshop, etc....It's too bad to hear you haven't wanted to post. Hopefully things will get cleaned up and you'll feel better about it in the future and want to post your pics. I'd be more than happy to see them....

20 deer, now thats alot of jerky These are nuisance deer shot year round david.?And if I remember corectly he donates alot of his kills to a food bank?
Here in Ontario, alot of farmers are shooting deer with the nuisance tags, and cant be donated to a food bank,or feed the hungry or what have you.Its truly a waste.Just imagine all the non-hunters out there eating there first venison steak that a hunter or farmerdonated for them.Wouldent that be just one more person on our side

BDH----Things will never change, even if it did there will always be a member who will nit pick, tear things apart and never agree on anything unless it has scientific proof
I do agree 100% with you on trying to get along, and lets be on the same team, and if you think the post is otherwise "fake" then why post in the first place other then to get your post count up of-course
