    BTW, you still got bucks with antlers?? I'm no expert, but isn't that a tad late in the year?
    Some hold onto the horns through turkey season here in KY. Lots of reports of seeing bucks while turkey hunting in April.

    I agree with Shadowace...some bucks don't drop their antlers until the new growth pushes them off...here in PA that could be April....

    I shot a cow elk once that had a club for a leg...it was healed over and pretty much cut off right at the knee...she got around good on it..

    I'd say she would be a good doe to take out of the herd. Wouldn't want any birth defects like that to be passed down to her fawns.
